4: YES and NO

YES and NO

Anyone new to dowsing could find it confusing at first to figure out the YES and No movements. Most people find that the YES is a clockwise movement of the pendulum and NO an anticlockwise movement. Some people find that their YES is an up and down movement like nodding your head and the NO a back and forth movement like shaking your head.
To find out which is your YES and NO hold your pendulum with about 8 to 10 cm. of chain from your pendulum, hold the rest of the chain in your hand. Start the pendulum swinging back and forth gently and mentally ask a question that you know is wrong, such as I was born in.....Just note the way the pendulum swings. Then mentally ask I was born in the town you were born.  The pendulum will rotated in the opposite direction. Mentally ask all sorts of question that you know are right and wrong. If the pendulum swings back and forth it often means the question is ambiguous or two questions. It is important to formulate your questions as simple as possible, make sure your question isn't vague or it's none of your business. It helps to write down your question before you ask until you are sure of the questioning.Remember to be hydrated and keep practising.
